MSSL 2023 ALL STAR MEET

Where: JCC Pool 125000 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio 78231 

(IMPORTANT: Enter the parking lot off Wurzbach Pkwy and enter by the back pool gate area.  Do NOT enter through the front as they will not let you through to the pool!)

Pool information: 8 lanes by 25 meters with blocks start 4.5'/finish 4' 

When: Friday, July 7 

Warm-ups: Swimmers will NOT warm up by teams, but by age groups in an assigned lane with an assigned coach to conduct warm-up drills, and it probably is not with their coach. 

Warm-ups times: 5-5:30 for 10 & Under and 5:30-6 pm for 11 & Older Meet begins: 6 pm 

JCC Concession stand provided as well as Kona Ice onsite. 

Halftime activities include: A fun Coaches’ Relay and awarding of the MSSL University Scholarships 

Swimmers: must be accompanied by a Coach, Team Rep, or parent at the meet. 

PARENTS: Bring folding chairs and sit outside the fenced pool area. You will be invited inside just to watch your swimmer, then you return to your seats. VOLUNTEERS: Are needed to run every swim meet. Officials will come dressed in their official uniform. The meet ref asks at the meet for volunteers to work as lane timers, runner, head timer, awards, and in scorekeeping. The meet cannot start until we have all volunteers in place. Be prepared to work at least one half of the shortest meet—and most fun—of the season! It is 1 heat of every event from Champs!

Swim Freak will be in attendance selling swim items like at Champs.

MSSL will be selling: a limited number of All-Star shirts $15, matching silicone swim cap $15, stickers $5, and bag $5. All-Star Special: 1 of each item for $35! CASH AND CHECKS ONLY--NO VENMO, PAYPAL, OR CC! Bring nothing larger than a twenty dollar bill please.
